Our Mission

Aviyan Bay Area is a dedicated non-profit organization established in 2018 with a clear mission: to enrich San Francisco Bay Area communities through inclusive sports and recreational programs. We believe in the transformative power of sports to bring people together, promote physical wellness, and foster meaningful social connections.

Discover the moments that bring our community together

Community Soccer Tournament

Join us for our annual soccer tournament featuring 32 teams from across the Bay Area! This exciting 2-day event at Golden Gate Park promotes friendly competition, teamwork, and community spirit. All skill levels welcome - registration includes jersey, refreshments, and awards ceremony.

Youth Basketball League

Our popular youth basketball league runs every Saturday from September to March at local community centers. Ages 8-17 are divided into skill-appropriate divisions. Focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship with certified coaches. Season includes playoffs and championship games!

Family Fun Run

Monthly 5K family-friendly runs through scenic Bay Area trails and parks. Every first Sunday of the month, families gather for healthy exercise and bonding time. Multiple distance options (1K, 3K, 5K) ensure everyone can participate. Post-run breakfast and kids' activities included!

Swimming Classes

Year-round swimming instruction for all ages and abilities at local aquatic centers. From beginner water safety to advanced stroke technique, our certified instructors provide personalized attention in small groups. Classes include water aerobics, competitive swimming prep, and adaptive programs for special needs.

Community Picnic

Our signature annual community celebration brings together over 500 families for a day of food, fun, and friendship at Crissy Field. Features include cultural performances, sports tournaments, kids' bounce houses, face painting, and a diverse food court representing our multicultural community. Free admission for all!

Tennis Workshops

Weekly tennis workshops every Wednesday evening at local courts, led by USPTA-certified professionals. Beginner clinics focus on basics while advanced sessions work on strategy and competitive play. Equipment provided for new players. Special women's and seniors' sessions available. Register for single sessions or full seasonal packages.
